Peter began his coaching in 1972.  Over the years, he had coached high school teams and also had been with Etobicoke Parks & Recreation.  In 1974 he began coaching competitively with programs including including Etobicoke Jaycees, Gymnastics Mississauga, Bolton, Bramalea, Futures and Adrenaline coaching Women’s Artistic Gymnastics, Power Tumbling and Trampoline.


Over the years, he has worked with gymnasts who have qualified for Ontario Championships, Eastern Canadian Championships and Elite Ontario.


Furthermore, since 2005, Peter has also been coaching both Cheer and Dance Tumbling, separate from this Women’s Competitive coaching and, is (since 2009) Head Tumbling Coach at a Mississauga Competitive Cheer Program.


A graduate of Seneca College School of Coaching in 1976, Peter completed his NCCP II.  Subsequently, he completed TRAMPOLINE NCCP II (2000), “High 5” Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification (August 2007) and RISK MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION (2009).


Beginning 1976, he entered the Commercial/Corporate Insurance Industry and during the 1980’s Peter’s “day job” included Insurance and Risk Management for a number of Sporting Organizations including Gymnastics (Canada, Ontario, Manitoba, Yukon and NWT, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland/Labrador, P.E.I.).


Still working full time within the Corporate/Commercial Insurance Industry, he sat within Gymnastics Ontario Risk Management Committee and as a committee, had completed the current (2009) release for Risk Management Certification for coaches in Ontario.  Currently, Peter has a number of Gymnastics and Cheerleading facilities as a part of his clientele.
